When i was only 8 years old i wrote a 50 page novel and had it published the next week.
I plan to get my eighth piercing on my eyelid.
My family believes in Oprah as our savior and we intend to worship and cherish her until the world suddenly stops and makes us melt into a pool of jello.

Springfield Finest
Corn fields, vast plains, and the common folk are a few things people might associate with Springfield, Illinois but there is a little more depth beneath this hick town. In 1837 a young lawyer by the name of Abraham Lincoln (I'm sure you heard of this dude) helped Springfield become the State Capital, so i guess that explains the many Lincoln libraries, statues, and the biggest, dullest museum in all of America. Some say Springfield is the center piece of Illinois political activity which is somewhat true. The State Capitol building contains many important people who makes important decisions each fall and spring but i guess the big mansion was too much for our own governor- then again who would want to stay in a creepy house with poor lighting and 5 foot tall doors?
Every Halloween the mansion is transformed into a Haunted House. I can recall one year when my family decided to visit the house and see whats all the hype about. Well after waiting in a 2 hour line filled with screaming kids, impatient parents and the local trailer trash (they love free candy!) we just gave up and went trick or treating, lets just say disappointment was the word for that day.
Southeast High school and White Oaks Mall was my stomping grounds in the small boring town. everyday after school me and my friends would catch SMTD out to the little 2 floor mall and randomly roam the stores. i guess the mall was our gathering place, no money or not that was the spot!- till new policies were made and we were forced back to the hood on the south side of the city.
Well there is no doubt about Springfield being bland and slow paced but this little town had an effect on me. The high school dances, local parades, and the county fairs helped me appreciate the town kindness, i guess moving a little slow isn't too bad at all.
